Through the California Watershed Protection Fund we rehabilitated and cleaned up 3.05 miles of tributary, canals and shoreline in Lake Elsinore. Frequent dumping and homeless encampment sites have contributed to the degradation of the water quality. Stewards of the land, we helped remove a significant amount of trash and submerged debris from the waters edge. 145 Acres of the post Macy Fire burn scar were monitored for invasive species and eradicated.
Collaboration with the Rose Foundation, local agencies, businesses, and residents were vital to our success. Together we build resilient communities capable of withstanding and recovering from disasters.
